DeviceId

The unique identifier of the device.

This attribute is defined as a string to enable broad support across collection systems. However, some collections systems require that you specify an integer value in this attribute. The value in this field must be compatible with the collections system that is specified in the PrimaryCollectionSystem attribute.

	ChoiceConnect Fixed Network	Required. This must be an integer. This field must exactly match the incoming message from the endpoint. Part of the endpoint message transmission includes the serial number (DeviceId) and it must match what is in the MDI Configuration file for the data to be stored in the ChoiceConnect Fixed Network database. All statistics and reporting rely on matching the DeviceId and DeviceType attributes in the MDI Configuration file to that of the incoming message from the endpoint.
